When is the best season to visit Uzbekistan?

You can travel to Uzbekistan all year round, but spring and autumn are considered the most comfortable seasons.

Spring - from March to May

The weather is warm and pleasant. It is a great time to explore Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva on foot. In March, you can closely experience local culture and traditions through the Navruz holiday.

Summer - from June to August

Summer is hot, especially in Bukhara and Khiva. Traveling is possible, but it is recommended to plan excursions for the morning or evening.

Autumn - from September to November

Autumn is one of the best times to visit Uzbekistan. The weather is pleasant, and you can leisurely sightsee the historical cities. September and October are especially comfortable.

Winter - from December to February

In winter, there are fewer tourists, and you can see historical sites in a quieter atmosphere. In mountainous areas, winter recreation opportunities are available.
